NBAC (N-Butyl acetate)

Characteristics: Colorless transparent liquid with fruity odor. Insoluble in water, miscible with organic solvents such as alcohols, ethers and ketones, flammable. An excellent organic solvent with good solubility for ethyl cellulose, cellulose acetate butyrate, polystyrene, methacrylate, chlorinated rubber and various natural gums.

DPM (Dipropylene Glycol Methyl Ether)

DMC (Dimethyl carbonate)

Characteristics: Organic compound which can be regarded as the dimethyl ester of carbonic acid. Flammable clear liquid, boiling point 90 C, insoluble in water, can be used as methylating agent. Compared to other methylating reagents such as methyl iodide and dimethyl sulfate, dimethyl carbonate is less toxic and biodegradable.
