Bio-Base
Butanedioic acid
CAS:110-15-6
Characteristics: Succinic acid is a colorless crystal, sublimated by distillation under reduced pressure, soluble in water, slightly soluble in ethanol, ether and acetone, flammable and corrosive.
Uses: Food, medicine, electronic chelating agent, textile additive, lubricant
Bio BDO (Bio 1,4-Butanediol)
CAS:110-063-4
Characteristics: Colorless liquid with high boiling point, low toxic odor. Completely soluble in water, most alcohols, esters, ketones, glycol ethers and acetates, but may be not or partially miscible in common aliphatic and aromatic chlorinated hydrocarbons.
Uses: Widely used in the manufacture of THF, PBT, PU, GBL, NMP, coatings, PBS biodegradable plastics
Itaconic acid (2-Methylidenebutanedioic acid)
CAS:97-65-4
Characteristics: Itaconic acid is a white crystal with a special odor, soluble in water, ethanol, acetone, slightly soluble in chloroform, benzene and ether. Not volatile, sublimated under vacuum, decomposed by overheating. Polymerizable.
Uses: Chemical reagent, monomer of synthetic fibers and synthetic resins, adhesive
Furfural
CAS:98-01-1
Characteristics: Furfural can react with similar compounds, such as acetaldehyde and other aromatic compounds. The aromatic furfural is less stable than benzene, and is much more reactive to hydrogenation and other addition reactions than other aromatic compounds. When furfural is heated with an acid, an irreversible reaction occurs and a hard thermosetting resin is formed.
Uses: Furfural is used as a solvent in petrochemical refining products and to refine dienes from other hydrocarbons in the manufacture of synthetic rubber. And derived furfuryl alcohols can react with phenol, acetone, and urea to make resins, which are used in the manufacture of fiberglass, some aircraft parts and automobile actuators.
Bio-methanol
CAS:67-56-1
Characteristics: Green methanol is produced by renewable energy and sustainable raw materials, so it is a carbon-neutral and carbon-negative fuel. The main sources of green methanol are biomass, captured carbon dioxide (CO2) and exhaust gases from industrial processes.
Uses: Green methanol is also used as a raw material for the production of various chemical products. These chemical products are used in in the upstream and downstream stages of various areas, such as transportation, construction, pharmaceuticals, chemical fertilizers, etc. Formaldehyde produced can be used in the paints and coatings, the methyl tert-butyl ether produced helps in the production of biodiesel, which helps increase the use of biodiesel as an alternative fuel, and the dimethyl ether produced can be used as a chemical solvent. The production of mentioned chemicals helps to reduce carbon footprint and create a green environment.
